I didn’t realize that Emilee is going through treatment and I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for her especially at such a young age. She is very brave. As you know, I also have facial scarring and it actually came later on in my life and it was difficult to deal with and there is no treatment. It taught me to be tough and brave and it built character. Your little girl is amazing and strong and I hope soon she will be done with her treatment. Sending lots of love to her!

Lisa, your words meant a lot. I know Emilee is who she is today b/c of what she’s been going through. I know she is tough and brave. I think I need to be tougher than her!!! Haha. Never easy… and I had no idea about your scarring. Never noticed but glad you became stronger through your personal experience. Thanks again cousin!!!
