Dear Emilee…

Dear Sweet Emilee, Yes. You did it to me again baby. I mean you somehow find a way to scare daddy every single time especially when I least expect it. Last night, I went into your room to make sure you were sleeping OK. Then I saw something hanging in a dark room. I said...

Cheendy - =( Breaks my heart even reading about Emilee’s treatment. So I can’t even imagine how hard it must be for you and for Emilee.
She’s an amazing girl. I know it. Can’t wait to see her again and give her a huge hug. Happy Birthday, Emilee!!!!

Lisa Chao - I didn’t realize that Emilee is going through treatment and I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for her especially at such a young age. She is very brave. As you know, I also have facial scarring and it actually came later on in my life and it was difficult to deal with and there is no treatment. It taught me to be tough and brave and it built character. Your little girl is amazing and strong and I hope soon she will be done with her treatment. Sending lots of love to her!

Tommy Han Photography - Cindy, Thanks. I gave her a big hug and a lick in her ear for you. ;)

Lisa, your words meant a lot. I know Emilee is who she is today b/c of what she’s been going through. I know she is tough and brave. I think I need to be tougher than her!!! Haha. Never easy… and I had no idea about your scarring. Never noticed but glad you became stronger through your personal experience. Thanks again cousin!!!

Hetty Kim - Happy Birthday dear Emilee. Big hugs.

Son’s Love

Recently, we taught Noah how to use his email. He really enjoys it and it really promotes writing/reading skills for him. Right now, his email list consists of Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Frank and Auntie June. Tonight, he wrote me this. Totally melt my heart. Noah is such a sweet boy. Probably the most caring and...

Val - You and Staci amaze me with how generous you are with your time and hospitality. Always opening your home up to friends. It’s no wonder Noah sent you that email. He IS a lucky boy to have such wonderful parents.

Lordy Lordy Look Who’s 40!

Yesterday, we celebrated my brother’s 40th birthday. Wow. I can’t believe he’s forty already! As I was writing his card, I was reflecting back to the rough journey we walked together as a family in America. We didn’t really get to spend too much time together after he went to college. So for almost 15...

Jason & Sunghee’s Wedding | Tommy Han Photography

Last Saturday, I got to capture Jason and Sunghee’s wedding. It is always special to capture photos of friends that are dear to you. Through the lens, I was able to partake and witness this beautiful wedding, not only as a photographer but as a fellow brother too. I caught myself smiling really big when...

Jennifer - Lovely, DT~, it’s lovely~ – clap* clap* clap* :)
I especially like the unity candle shot and how you captured Choi jsn’s emotions as he was handing his daughter off to his new son-in-law. :*) Oh and nice shot of PD with the ring(s) ;)

Jae Lee - Great photos Tommy. Tell Jason, he looks much more dapper in a suit than gym clothes.

Sudden Silence

Since I was watching the kids tonight (Mama was at an Arbonne meeting), I called my bro to see if they wanted to grab some frozen yogurt together. So we headed out to Fro Yo Yogurt. It’s pretty good. Very similar to Yogurtland. I usually get the Plain Original Tart with strawberries, mochi, blackberries, mango,...
