Last week, I had a wonderful opportunity to capture Ethan’s first birthday celebration. Family and friends did a fabulous job of decorating their restaurant (KAYA Korean BBQ). It was great to see their loved ones join them for this very special occasion. Congratulations again Ethan! You are truly blessed to have a wonderful daddy and mommy....

I have to admit that Paul and I are guilty of the technology aspect. Sigh. We try to put away our laptops and not watch TV when we’re with Jacob…but it’s hard. Sigh. A good reminder to treasure every moment with our kids. They really do grow up fast.

we would see that in a lot of parents (before we had kids and now…even more with all the little gadgets) or a couple not talking to eachother throughout the course of the whole meal! our rule is not iphones when the kids are around…unless i’m taking a picture of course.
