Wow. It’s definitely been a long time since I wrote a Xanga entry. Honestly, I never thought I’d write another Xanga entry (although I like the journal blog style better). Maybe God woke me up at 4:30am today just so that I can write an entry. My last entry was exactly 2 months ago from...

xminniex - you’re so funny.. i was dying when i read your fb reply, how you made this “private” so nobody can see it but YOU!!!! you’re prob like “hmm… how come no one’s visiting or leaving comments..”

anywhoo, i was SOO impressed by noah’s description of his name & its meaning bc i was like WOW! his handwriting is SO NEAT and pretty! then i realized Staci prob wrote it. ha ha ha ha….

Isaiah is such a cutie pie… i love the drool mark on his chin in the photo ;) and as for Emilee, I will definitely keep her in my prayers…!! she looks like such a doll in the photo. how many more treatment sessions..??

tommyandstaci - @xminniex - haha. thanks for your comment and correcting me. :) emilee has bi-monthly treatment for next couple years??? they said it will be a long process so not sure… but i know it’s not ending anytime soon.

jeffsuhr - isaiah is so cute – i LOVE his cheeks – all your kids and their cheeks! oh, poor emilee – hang in there, tommy (and staci). i can’t imgaine how tough those treatments must be. man, as i read your entry, i was thinking, “man, i need to get my noah into preschool soon, too” . . . sigh . . . i wonder how he will do!

cheendy - ok..i forgive you for having an affair with fb. Just don’t do it again! =P

it’s so good to hear updates about your life. Your kids are awesome..I hope Jacob grows up to be as good as Noah, as sweet as Emilee, and as happy as Isaiah. =)

Paul and I miss you, man! We always talk about taking a trip over there. Maybe soon? We’ll see. =)

juliachoi - great post, tommy!  sounds like you have been BUSY!  life never stops, nor slows down when you have three kids.  it’s exciting to see how much business you are getting just by word of mouth.  i’m glad to hear that noah likes school.  and emilee…i don’t think the treatments will cause her any psychological damage.  it will only make her stronger. :)   after all, she is a Han, isn’t she? ;)   and i don’t think her behavior is from her treatments…it’s from her strong personality. :)   something about the middle child…ethan has a very strong/stubborn personality and he has aged danny and i about 10 years.  he really challenges us mentally/physicallly/emotionally and keeps us on our toes.  but, he’s also so sweet, caring and funny.  there are so many worries/conerns when raising children, but i’m thankful that we have our heavenly Father to hope and trust in.  it’s so easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but i look at colin and God reminds me to just enjoy today.  i’m sure that isaiah, mr. cutie pie, does the same for you guys, too. :)

kimnodurft - Your kids are just the cutest! Sounds like the school Noah is going to will be fantastic. Nick, our son, went to a school like that in Williamsburg, VA. We loved it! Children don’t learn Christian values just at school. Its in the home. Which you all have totally mastered. Sometimes feeding it to them all the time backfires. Our old next door neighbors spent all their time either in Bible study or at their Christian school. Two out of 4 kids have been in prison. BTW, I’m a Christian. :) Your kids have two fantastic parents. They’re going to be fine. Emilee will be fine with the treatments. I spent almost a year in a back brace after breaking a vertebra at 12. I hated it! Thought I’d be scared for life from it. But instead it gave me empathy for others. God is working in your home. And it shows how blessed you all are in your blog.

tommyandstaci - @jeffsuhr - it’s the saddest when they cry during drop off isn’t it? i think noah cried for a whole year when he first started going to school. hahaha. i’m sure noah will do fine though. :)

@cheendy - you and paul TOTALLY need to visit!!! i’ll give you guys a free family portrait for sure ok? :) Come in 2 weeks. Fall is super duper beautiful here. Man I want to do a photoshop of Isaiah like you guys did with Jacob. Not sure if I can pull it off though. Not that creative.. haha.

@juliachoi - thanks for the encouragement. and you’re right. it’s probably making her stronger. we went to get our flu shot and noah was going CRAZYYYY!!! he was crying, kicking, etc. Emilee just simply said, “I’m ready” and took the shot without reaction. hahaha. but thanks for sharing especially about ethan. :) it’s great to know we’re not alone. i told staci this but it seems like emilee is more stubborn and attitudish with staci more. maybe b/c she’s home with her more??? not sure…is ethan better with one or the other too?

@kimnodurft - kim, you rock always. yes i know you’re a christian. and thanks for taking the time to share about your personal experiences. and yes, i totally agree with you. nurturing in the Lord starts and ends within your home. not at school and not even at church. isn’t it funny how older days, everything happened at home? as you have mentioned, i pray that emilee will become stronger and will be able to comfort those who go through similar treatment like her in the future. again thanks for your support always in every way. we gotta meet one of these days and do coffee. maybe you can give me some pointers in photography ms. pro! :)

kimnodurft - LOL! I would love to meet for coffee. Things will be slowing down here in a couple of weeks. Lets plan something then.

juliachoi - ethan is stubborn with BOTH of us!!!

kyleescrazymommy - Hi tommy, I wonder the same thing with Kylee and her eczema.  It’s gotten better now but when it was bad….I use to ask myself the same thing.  I still wonder what it’s doing to her psychologically…is it making her into a more stressed person? Is she acting out becuase she’s so frustrated with her skin? And am I being to harsh on her and not empathetic enough?  Lots of questions that I just don’t have the answers to.  I think you guys are doing what you feel is best for her. It’s hard now but I think she will appreciate all the effort you guys made in the future.  Whatever happens at  least you will also know that you guys did all that you could to help her.

cassandrachoi - thanks for sharing tommy! i am excited to see your photography making money for you and taking off. i always thought you had so much talent!!
you are such a good dad. i think emilee will grow up confident of that no matter what happens. all your kids are so adorable!!

parkster7831 - seriously, whenever i read about your kids i admire you and Staci even more! *BIG BIG kudos to you guys* :)
