dude, she is so cute in that bikini!!! I can hardly wait to play with her. In the meantime, you know Kayla and I will be praying for Emilee to overcome RTA. I know you must feel helpless at times, but God is good…all the time.

Emilee is in our prayers – hopefully the medication will help her. =) And yes, I remember the m&m…guess what I found? The Winnie-the-pooh doll dressed up like a bumble bee. It’s in Ella’s room. =) She plays with his wings all the time. =) Why are your kids so stinkin cute? Noah looks too happy in the pool…=)

UPDATES These days, we’re really enjoying Emilee. She’s at that stage where she interacts with us and does cute stuff here and there. She gives us kisses and signs “more” when she wants something more. She dances “techno” when music comes out and even makes karate chop motion with “heeeee-yap” noise. She knows how to stand...

poor girl…i can imagine how painful it must be for everyone while in the doctor’s office! thanks for sharing the update on the kids. i always enjoy reading them. don’t we all wish we could have the same diet that the doctor prescribed for emilee?!
All parents make mistakes now and then, don’t get down on yourself. It’s obvious that you make much more of an effort to be a good parent than the average person. You have such a great perspective on parenting and I find it so inspiring that you always look to the Lord for guidance. Even though I’m not a parent, I can still tell that you & Staci are great ones! Loved the post and the pics as usual!
next time noah is watching incredibles or night at the museum, start to annoy him really bad. keep talking to him or walk in front of the TV. whatever it takes. and then next time he annoys you, just ask him if he wants you to keep bothering him during incredibles next time? hahahahaha.

good post…i think it takes a lot of effort to be a GOOD parent…it’s not something you can do on and off…it’s 24/7… i think you guys are good parents though you seem to ENJOY spoiling them once in a while…

Thanks for the updates. Tho’ you/we might not be perfect parents, Noah & Emilee are still very blessed to be part of a godly family such as yours. We know you & Staci are fostering a love for God in their hearts. Re: girls’ clothes… I agree… they are definitely more fun to shop for. I spend more time picking out Ella’s clothes than Jadon’s. For him, I just buy whatever is on the sale rack. haha! As for Ella… I don’t feel bad splurging a little every now and then. BTW… Staci… I just got Ella a cute little halter dress too!!!
It’s good to hear your thoughts tomtom. Thanks for being so transparent. =) And hey, i think Emilee’s new diet and mine are quite similar…=) haha. is that a problem?? ANd i hear ya about taking Emilee to get her treatment. Reading about it and picturing her screaming and crying…breaks my heart, it really does. Will her birthmark eventually all go away? Or will it just get to a point where it’s so faint you can barely see it and will no longer need treatment? I hope she doesn’t have to endure that for too long…poor baby. =( btw, how’s the book coming along? =)

thanks for you comments. You have a beautiful family. that weather was crazy. We got a ton of hale and it looked like it snowed. Trees fell over, plants and flowers got shredded. I hope we at least have a long summer after the winter we have been through.
The Anticipated Mickey Mouse Party! So Noah’s Mickey Mouse Birthday party finally arrived today. We had pizza, chips, fruit platter, juice, cake and lots of candies while watching a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD over and over (of course with Mickey’s ears on). Sounds like a birthday party no? haha. Wow, your family knows how to party. Once again… wished we could have been there to celebrate with you guys. You know… we were seriously contemplating a surprise visit this weekend since you mentioned you weren’t going to be hosting any out-of-towners for Noah’s party (but we were nervous that we’d be the ones surprised if we got caught in one of sudden snow storms). Oh well… perhaps next time. Or not. 
Noah looks so happy. I love it! A pat on the back to you and Staci for getting through so many birthdays in such a short period of time. Get some rest now.
what? a diego scooter? who is diego anyways? tommy, what are you doing buying those things? golf clubs and basketballs ONLY! how is he going to make it to the NBA when he is playing on diego scooters? my kid is only getting golf clubs, basketballs, Jordan Ultimate Collection DVDs, Lakers Dynasty DVDs, and for smaller holidays, PowerBars.
noah is lucky though, i had toys as a baby, but didnt get a toy for the longest time….till 5th grade, when i saved up enough money to buy a Go-Bot….not a Transformer…too expensive….a Go-Bot. ONE Go-Bot. That was my last toy. From toddler years to 4th grade, my main toys were stationary products…pens, staplers, scissors, tweezers, ….but my favorite was the nail clipper. It was the only air,land,and sea vehicle. On land you can open up the nail clipper and release the very powerful cannon that could swivel. Not many people know this, but the nail clipper was the O.G. transformer….and I had it!
What a FUN birthday party!!! And wow, so close to Emilee’s. I didn’t realize they shared birthdays so close. Looks like Noah had a great time with all his friends. Thanks for sharing your kid’s special days with us all…!!! ~ Dawn

That Diego scooter is too cute – with his little knee pads and helmet?? Oh my gosh…so cute. I wanted to bite him! And I know what you mean about those pinatas. We bought one for church and it didn’t work so the dads had to break it open for the kids! Oh well…anyways, we hope you guys can now rest up a bit after all the crazy celebrations.
You and Staci are so good to your kids. I can’t wait til Noah’s in kindargarten so I can be his Sunday School teacher. yay! It always melts my heart to see him smile.
