It sucks to live in northern CA~~~~~~~~~~ Chris says that our place is an overpriced cardboard box. I’d rather live in a decently priced cardboard box~ hmmm…that reminds me of when I was younger…my parents bought a large appliance that came packaged in a HUGE box. My brother, sister, and I were sooooooo excited because we never saw a box that big so we made it into our make-believe house. We kept that box for a loooong time and we also liked tumbling around in it! If I knew where I’d be living 20 years later, I wouldn’t have let my mom throw my “house” away! It was free!
It’s 5:18am (did you just go to sleep Teri? haha) and I can’t go back to sleep. Noah went down at 9pm and then he got up around 3:45am as usual. I went up and put him back to sleep right away (blanky flopping method – see below). Only problem…I can’t get myself to go...

So we’ve been putting Noah to sleep in his own room upstairs every night. It’s been nice since once we put him to sleep, we can take care of some chores downstairs without waking him up. just let him cry it out for like 30 minutes . . . i’m sure it’s heart wrenching but i’ve heard that it works.
We used to do “cry-to-sleep” until he started to throw up everywhere. He gets so worked up that he gags and throws up. Then it’s no fun for mommy and daddy. But I think we’re gonna have to try that again even if he throws up…

In the beginning he looks so much like you but now that he is getting older he is starting to look a lot like Staci… wow… it must be so cool to see parts of you and Staci in him.
tommy, you are such a good daddy noah is lucky! you must be tired, though. he might be regressing a little . . when’s number 2 due? megan has been acting a little strange, too. ours is due soon. maybe when he cries, just comfort him, but don’t let him get out of bed and don’t stay too long in the room with him. try talking to him ( if he understands ) and let him fall asleep on his own. it might take a while. i know we’re goign to go through some major transitions with meggy, too! hang in there
