I can’t believe my own children turned 3, 6, and 8. Time surely flies. Makes me want to appreciate my time with them even more because in few years, I’m going to wish they were 3, 6, and 8 once again. I am truly enjoying my children these days. Much more than before. Noah is such a big boy now. Picked up a co-pilot bike so that we can cruise soon together. I am always so touched by how compassionate and thoughtful he is especially when it comes to others. Such a sweet boy. Emilee is so crazy and wild. That’s what I love & hate about her! Of course, there’s a very special bond between a father-daughter. I cherish that so much. And Isaiah… we are definitely loving this stage. NO MORE PEDIASURE! WOO HOO! It saddens me to know that we will enjoy this stage for the last time. He says the funniest things these days too. Today, I farted before heading out to church and he shouted, “Daddy!!! You no go to church~! You go to TOILET!!!” LOL. OK TMI for some of you but still hecka funny to me. We were rolling on the floor. How can you not cherish these moments together.

Since Noah and Emilee’s birthdays are a day apart, we decided to throw a party for them and invite their friends. This is the first time we have actually thrown a party for them. Previous years, we went on a family vacation trip together to celebrate their birthdays elsewhere. This year, we had it at Party On in Parker. Very friendly staff and lots of fun jump houses. Highly recommend it. Originally, we gave them various choices of where they can have their party. However, they chose Party On b/c they were able to invite most friends at this place. That was really touching b/c they really valued their friendship with their peers.

It was really nice to see them having fun with their friends. Meeting their parents was definitely nice too as we promised each other for more play dates together. Wish Staci was home instead of working so that she can have play dates throughout the week. Btw, why does Emilee only have “boy” friends??!! Grrrr~

Well, knowing me, I tried to capture everything that happened for their birthdays. Here are few memorable moments to share. First one is breakfast time at Chick-fil-A. Took the kids there before dropping them off to school on Friday, the 4th. Kids loved it. Second, we had a family dinner that same day at Red Robins as they sang Happy Birthday to Noah and Emilee. Kids LOVE that place! Third, big birthday bash at Party On. Enjoy the photos!!!

I know you don’t like to make a big deal of your birthday.

With that said, “Happy birthday Dear”.

These were the very words Julie challenged me with.

Knowing me, I said … OF COURSE!!!

Lets just say I was WIPED OUT after the session.

Actually, ALL the adults were wiped out after the session. Haha.

I wish I captured their expressions on my camera too.

But it was a BLAST!

We had precious moments, pouting moments, fighting moments, laughing moments, you name it. We had it all!

And I caught all of it on my camera.

I could NOT wait to share these photos  so enjoy them as much as I did!

One adorable girl who celebrated her very first birthday with her beloved family and friends.

Their home was beautifully decorated in love.

Cake, balloons, candies, and lots of delicious food that was catered by KAYA Korean BBQ~!  :)

Daddy grilled some wonderful Korean BBQ as family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful occasion together.

Prayer of blessing given by their pastor followed by various Korean traditional events.

Mikaela chose thread/string during one of the games that symbolized long life.

I know her parents were busy multitasking the whole day so it probably was hard to really enjoy the event themselves.

My prayer is that as they watch the slideshow together, they will realize how blessed Mikaela’s first birthday was.

More than the event itself, how blessed they are to simply have each other as a family.

Thank you Kim family for allowing me to be part of this wonderful day.

It was a lot of fun especially because their children were so fun and cute!

Even when I was editing their photos I found myself smiling.

It has been a blessing to see this family grow beautifully over the years.

And I am so thankful that I was able to work with them this past weekend.

Just wanted to share few photos from my quick break with Isaiah today.

It might have been only few minutes of play together while enjoying the warm weather but I will cherish these moments forever.

Hopefully he will too.

Perhaps you are searching for information or how your family can deal with your child’s birthmark.

Well, my daughter has dealt with it for almost 6 years now while getting treated bi-monthly since birth.

I’d be lying if I’d say it’s getting easier especially after our last treatment.

I dread the next one coming up very shortly.

I write this blog for those who are wanting to find a community or someone to chat if you’re going through the same thing.

Perhaps you just found out that your child has a port-wine stain too.

Perhaps you are going through all the testing to see if it will affect their vision and other development.

Perhaps you are weighing out all the options.

All I can say is that we’ve gone through the same thing so if you want to talk about it, I’m down to chat.

Anything to provide comfort and support to those who are struggling because of it.

I had so much fun working with them.

I think at one point, I had a hard time shooting because I was cracking up so much.

Daddy K is such a fun dad that he was entertaining me too~! Haha.
